wienXtra-schulevents organises a large variety of different events, ranging from creative activities, music, nature, drama, song and sports to arts and rhetorics.

What we want

By participating in wienXtra’s school events you will see that school can be a lot of fun. We show that school is a living system and can provide an environment for experiences beyond classic classroom teaching. Within our programmes, the emphasis is placed on offering a wide range of different activities to enable pupils engage with a variety of fields and topics. Our programmes are based on the key principles of fair and respectful interaction and mutual respect.

What is important to us?

In planning, designing and staging our events we work within the educational trianglular framework of education – leisure time – culture, whereby we attach great importance to the educational perspectives between culture and education and never lose sight of the ambivalence of these two fields. In addition to this, we place great emphasis on different educational approaches.
